How we check clinic data
Every fact on this site has one of three sources — and every profile tells you which one it came from and when.
1. Government registry (every clinic)
Every clinic starts from Korea's official healthcare registry (HIRA), which licenses all medical institutions. That's where the name, address, phone, opening year, and board-certified dermatologist counts come from. We refresh this quarterly and show the data date on every profile.
2. Automated website scans (badges marked “on their website”)
Our crawler reads each clinic's own website and records what it finds: an English page, WhatsApp/LINE/booking links, published price pages, treatments mentioned. These are honest signals of what the clinic itself publishes — we label them as auto-detected, with the scan date, and they are never edited by hand or by the clinic.
3. Clinic confirmation (the ✓ Verified badge)
A clinic becomes ✓ Verified only after we contact it directly and it confirms, in writing: its treatment prices, that foreigners pay the same prices as locals, its language support, and a booking channel that works from abroad. Verified profiles show the month we last confirmed. If a clinic stops responding or its answers stop matching reality, the badge comes off.
What we never do
We don't take booking commissions, we don't sit between you and the clinic, we don't write reviews, and we don't invent ratings. You always contact clinics directly — our job ends at giving you checked information.
